Wire Coils

Metal Wire binding or wiro binding as it is sometimes known is the most common binding method when looking for a professional finish to bound documents. At NZ Binding we have 3:1 (34 Loop) wire from 6 mm (1/4”) to 16 mm (5/8”) meaning you can bind documents from 1 sheet to 140 sheets of 80 gsm in this pitch. We have 2:1 (23 Loop) wire from 6 mm (1/4″) to 38 mm (1 1/2″) so you can bind documents from 30 to 320 sheets of 80 gsm in this pitch. Unsure what size you need? See our Wire Size Guide.
